Rigid Truck Camera Systems

By design Rigid Trucks create a number of operational blinds spots for the driver. Manoeuvring is not always easy, especially when parking or entering a loading bay. With a significant number of personnel in operation in and around the back of the vehicle safety is of paramount concern for drivers.

Rear View Camera Systems

The rear-view camera provides you with a view of the area immediately behind your truck so that you can reverse more safely.

The monitor in the cab automatically switches to the camera imaging when you engage reverse gear. The camera can also be activated continuously or manually optimising safety and efficiency.

Orlaco's powerful, automotive monitors perform under the most severe conditions, are shock and vibration-resistant and are equipped with handy options, such as automatic brightness adjustment. Depending on the vehicle, the monitor can be integrated into the dashboard or surface-mounted.

Combined Rear and Front View Systems

All the benefits of the rear mounted camera with an additional camera on the front increasing the visibility in front of the cab.

The forward facing camera displays the Class VI area perfectly enabling the driver to see cyclists and other pedestrians in time.

CornerEye 270º HD

The CornerEye system enables the driver to benefit from optimum 270º view to the front and right side of the truck for improved safety, efficiency and comfort.

The powerful, automotive HD monitor of this stand-alone system performs under all conditions and is shock and vibration-resistant. Mounting the monitor can be simply done and depending on the vehicle it can be incorporated into the dashboard or mounted on the vehicles A pillar.

Active Rear View Systems

A rear-view camera on your rigid truck allows you to reverse more safely. However the Active Rear View system incorporates RadarEye which actively warns the driver of imminent dangers by means of audio signals and graphic overlays.

The monitor in the cab automatically switches to the camera imaging when reverse gear is engaged. The camera can also be activated manually or continuously.

The highly robust RadarEye sensors sit in a special holder that can be adjusted in different positions. The scope of the detection zone can be set through the monitor software, so the driver only receives a signal when a stationary or moving object is detected within the zone.
